This unique combination allows you to determine wether your next product on Amazon and Walmart can be a potential success or a flop!
How to use Helium 10’s Product Launchpad
The Launchpad works in 3 easy steps: keywords, competitors and idea scorecard. Let’s give it a try creating a product called “dog hiking boots”
First step: set up the keywords
Identify popular keywords for your next product. You can do that using BlackBox or Cerebro and then copy paste those keywords into the tool. Notice that, in addition to the Search Volume Metrics (both on Amazon and Walmart), you can also find the:
- Keyword Sales
- Competing Products
- Title Density
- Suggested PPC Bid
- Amazon Brand Analytics Total Click Share
- and other Cerebro metrics
Step 2: set up the competitors
You can identify them on BlackBox and Cerebro and then copy / paste the ASINs on the tool. The key is to identify core players in your niche.
What you’ll get in return is your competitors’ overview:
- total sales
- total revenue
- average price
- average rating
- average reviews
- listing quality score
- pricing
- monthly sales
- monthly revenue
- seller country
- and categories BSR
Step 3: Make your decision using idea scorecard
With AI’s help, review all factors to decide confidently on your product’s future. Complete your scorecard to evaluate its overall viability, considering market research, competition, logistics, profitability and your decision-making approach.
Scorecard is based on 6 criterias:
- Market Research & Trends
- Market Size
- Competition, including: Avg. Negative Reviews, Avg. Reviews per Listing, China Seller Share, Areas for Improvement
- Logistics & Profitability, including: product’s P&L, Ability to Find a Suitable Supplier, Production & distribution costs and the Profit Margin based on: Selling Price, Product Cost, Avg. Referral Fee, Avg. FBA Fee, TACoS and other custom expenses
- Business Biases & Intuition, which include 5 different approaches balancing data with human intuition
- Data-Driven: rely 100% on data and analytics for decisions
- Balanced, with a lean towards data: let’s say 70% data / 30% intuition
- Balanced, with a lean towards intuition: 70% intuition / 30% data
- Intuition-leaning: lean towards intuition and personal experience over data
- Intuition-dependent: base decisions on gut feelings vs rarely using data

Is relying solely on Helium 10s Product Launchpad a shortcut or a strategy? I mean, can I base my whole product launching strategy just on this tool? is the data reliable? Do I need to use other tools to complement infos/data?
I use it to scalate my go-to-market tests. I used to rely just on Market Tracker 360 but this way is much easier, plus I can test out tenths of products a day
